KIWANIS CLUB OF SISTERS
Kiwanis Club of Sisters (Local Organization). Dedicated. Passionate. Enduring.
Since 1977, the Kiwanis Club of Sisters has been a pillar of service, fellowship, and generosity
in Sisters Country. Part of an international network of men and women devoted to
community betterment, the Club focuses on local participation—improving lives through
hands-on involvement. From its earliest days, Sisters Kiwanis has played an essential role in
shaping the community’s spirit of compassion and volunteerism, providing support for
families, youth, and organizations throughout the region.
Sisters Kiwanis Club funds college scholarships for Sisters High School seniors, supports vital
youth and family programs such as Circle of Friends, Family Access Network, Sisters Park
& Recreation District, SMART Reading, Heart of Oregon Corps, and Healthy Start, and
manages a Career Opportunity Fund for residents pursuing new educational or professional
paths. The Club also sponsors the Hoodoo Challenge: Run to the Top and maintains the
Sisters Food Bank, providing food and resources to local families in need.
Over nearly five decades, Sisters Kiwanis Club has helped build playgrounds, community
benches, ball fields, and lasting connections that strengthen the heart of Sisters. Entirely
volunteer-driven, the Club ensures that 100% of funds raised go directly to the causes it
supports—living out its enduring motto: “Service to the community with an emphasis on
youth.” We thank Kiwanis Club of Sisters for your dedication, passion, community support,
and commitment to Sisters.
